Created for us by a talented artist from Mombassa, Kenya, these hand-carved boxes are crafted from non-endangered wood. Each has an elephant carved into the lid and is filled with samples of our special incense, charcoal and frankincense that are native to Africa. Also included is a hand-carved spoon made from cow horn.

Kit includes:

1 hand carved box
4 pieces of African rose uud (break into smaller pieces to use)
1/2 ounce Somalia frankincense
1 loaf of three charcoal squares
1 cow horn spoon

Yemeni Rose Uud
Uud or incense made from pure Yemeni rock roses is burnt in our primitive Somali Uud burners (available separately). The scent of roses brings an aura of peacefulness and serenity to a room, generating an overall sense of well-being.

Charcoal Squares from Africa
These charcoal pieces from the Horn of Africa are easier to light than the charcoal rounds we have tried. They burn a little longer and are a cool silver color.

Somalia Frankincense
Used throughout the world in ceremony and purification rituals, our hand gathered frankincense from the Horn of Africa is some of the finest available in the world. It is still collected as it has been for generations and remains an important means of support for many families.
